BILD SHOP is a space to introduce paper, ceramics, and textile products selected by BILD. The art products with enchanting stories go beyond functional purposes and become a medium to convey the philosophy and world by artists. BILD SHOP thinks art is about life. Art is another word for love, solitude, conflict, courage, or life. We can share new visions about the experience of being alive with the art products by BILD SHOP in daily life.

‘LETOUCHER’ offers the first collection of ceramics in a soft posture at BILD SHOP. The collection “un” approaches you as functional artwork. Hand-glazed shapes move across and create a landscape of vague and silken surfaces. From all stages of production that céramiste are responsible for, each art piece has a share of coincidence and soleness.

The bag collection of ‘Jinwoo Ju’ to be introduced in 2022 is a compact size "RAIL BAG." It is reborn by reinterpreting the flap details of the last bag collection based on practical and concise design philosophy. This collection will be unveiled for the first time in January 2022.

On the set for the RAIL BAG collection, I wanted to reveal the directionality of Jinwoo Ju. I feel it’s close to his instinct. We can sense a parallel with himself in many parts of these textile arts where he is responsible for all the processes.

In this collection, conceived from the past to the present, I envisioned bronze and square support like man's ascent to civilization, and primitive cave structures. I expressed parallel double layers reminiscent of railroad tracks and created crosses inspired by the intersection of rails. I hope extending lines and diffused bright colors can reveal the progressive creativity of Jinwoo Ju.

The first ceramic collection of awwāh, Priming Cup exists at the boundary between artworks and products, like the shape of ㅏㅘ, which is neither a letter nor a sign.

‘Priming’ refers to water poured from above to raise the water when pumping. The act of making a cup is like priming water, which becomes the driving force of the day’s work and allows the artist to immerse herself in her work.

After repeatedly kneading, cutting, and stacking clay, the artist was able to face a new name, awwāh, and her role as a maker.

All cups are created by awwāh as a one-and-only work that simultaneously possesses unity and uniqueness between objects.
